Workers' Compensation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to join our Memphis, Tennessee office. As a key member of our legal team, you will collaborate closely with attorneys to support clients navigating workers' compensation claims, ensuring they receive the justice and compensation they deserve.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, and complaints. Your duties will include e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research, drafting discovery documents, coordinating depositions, and organizing trial binders and exhibits. Additionally, you will manage case files, maintain pleadings and discovery indexes, and assist attorneys with various aspects of case preparation and settlement.

The ideal candidate will possess an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of two years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury or workers' compensation. Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are also required.
