Working Student - Backend Developer & Data Detective

Applike is seeking a motivated working student to join their Demand Integrations Team within the Advertising Solutions department. This team is responsible for the core logic of Applike's advertising platform, including campaign distribution and management APIs. The company develops in-house software that manages and analyzes advertisements for over 200 million daily mobile users.

In this role, you will support the development and maintenance of backend services using Go (Golang), write SQL queries for data analysis, and assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and integrations. Collaboration with BI and data teams to deliver insights, improving data quality, validation, and monitoring processes, and documenting technical solutions and data workflows are also key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Experience with a backend language such as Node.js, C#, or Java, and a strong interest in learning Go (Golang) are essential. Proficiency in SQL, familiarity with REST APIs, cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, and an understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines are also required. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and solid communication skills are important for success in this role.
