ACAP Sessional Lecturer, Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice
The Australian College of Applied Professions (ACAP) is seeking dedicated sessional lecturers to contribute to its Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (GDLP) program in New South Wales. As part of Navitas, a leading global education provider, ACAP is committed to delivering high-quality, practice-oriented legal training to prepare law graduates for supervised legal practice.
In this role, lecturers will facilitate intensive workshops and practical skills sessions, provide written and verbal feedback on simulated legal practice tasks, assess student work and progress, and support students in developing professional judgment and ethical practice. The position involves both face-to-face teaching during intensive delivery periods and asynchronous online contributions, including assessment, feedback, student mentoring, and simulated practice supervision.
Applicants should have admission as an Australian lawyer, current or prior legal practice experience, strong written communication and professional skills, and an interest in legal training, supervision, and professional capability development. Experience in Practical Legal Training (PLT), legal education, graduate supervision, or professional training will be highly regarded.
