Account Director

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for prospecting new and existing business within designated verticals or territories, focusing on larger, complex accounts with longer sales cycles. You will adopt a solutions-selling approach, understanding customer needs and developing tailored solutions through the Diligent One Platform. Building and maintaining deep relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders at various organizational levels is crucial. Additionally, you will develop strategic business plans to drive new business and upsell opportunities, coordinate with internal teams to execute account plans, and manage the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity to deal closure.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of success in account management and achieving revenue targets within the technology or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) industry. Strong communication and presentation skills in English are essential, with proficiency in additional languages being advantageous. The ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders at different organizational levels is vital. A passion for continuous learning, including proven knowledge and expertise of internal products and external industry trends, is expected. Demonstrated strategic thinking and the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives are key. Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment are essential.
