Account Executive (Acciones Especiales)

WPP Media is seeking an Account Executive to join our Relevance team in Barcelona, focusing on special actions. In this role, you will transform client briefs into innovative strategies, identifying key brand opportunities and guiding clients and teams throughout the process.

Your primary responsibilities will include detecting market opportunities to offer clients, participating in project execution from brief reception to campaign closure, developing and monitoring media strategies with special actions, managing timelines and budgets, negotiating with suppliers in collaboration with the investment team, maintaining direct communication with clients and agency account teams, and building strong relationships with media outlets to identify new opportunities.

We are looking for candidates with at least one year of experience in advertising agencies, marketing, or communication departments, particularly in special actions projects. A strong understanding of marketing and advertising, including interpreting briefs and knowledge of various media channels, is essential. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required for presentations and meetings. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel, are necessary. An interest in market trends and best practices in special actions and events is also important. A higher education degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
