Account Executive, Commercial
The Commercial Account Executive at Tipalti plays a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the commercial sector. Key responsibilities include meeting or exceeding sales quotas while maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. The role requires maintaining a healthy and clean pipeline, managing the sourcing of new opportunities through collaboration with sales development team members and alliances, and maintaining a consistent activity level to achieve new opportunity targets. Effective territory management is also a critical aspect of the role.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of two years in sales, preferably within a SaaS B2B technology company. Essential skills include strong organizational and planning abilities, excellent communication skills for both internal and external interactions, and the capacity to work collaboratively as a team player. An understanding of territory planning and account segmentation, along with the ability to qualify inbound leads or outbound prospect target accounts, is also required.
The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 CAD annually, with the opportunity to earn commission pay based on performance, targeting an additional $80,000 to $95,000 CAD annually. This brings the expected total compensation to between $160,000 and $190,000 CAD annually.
