As an Account Executive at 8am, you will be an integral part of our SMB Sales Team, focusing on delivering our suite of products to small and mid-sized law firms. This role involves managing the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to product demonstrations and closing new business, thereby driving growth and expanding our client base. 8am, formerly known as AffiniPay, is a professional business platform dedicated to helping legal, accounting, and other client-focused professionals enhance their operations and profitability. In this position, you will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle, which includes outbound prospecting, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating deals, and closing sales, all with support from our marketing and XDR teams. A deep understanding of our software solutions and the competitive landscape is essential to effectively position our products in the market. Additionally, you will empower our customers by directly connecting our value proposition to their return on investment and build trusted relationships that extend beyond the initial sale, fostering repeat business and customer loyalty.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of consultative, B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing deals, preferably in the SaaS industry. Strong abilities in cold calling and converting conversations into pipeline opportunities are crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a passion for sales, and a self-driven sense of motivation are essential. The ability to act as a consultant, encouraging prospects to think differently about their business, along with attention to detail and the capacity to thrive in a growing environment, are also important. Ideally, candidates will be located in one of our hub locations: Austin, TX (HQ), San Diego, Vancouver, Denver, or Toronto.

Compensation for this role includes estimated on-target earnings (OTE) ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, with uncapped commission, providing the opportunity to exceed earnings potential based on performance.
