The Account Manager, Social (FTC) at WPP Media is responsible for leading the planning, creation, and ongoing management of paid social campaigns for Airbnb, a global platform offering unique accommodations and experiences. This role involves collaborating with the Paid Social team to drive media execution that supports Airbnb's diverse global ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include managing paid social media campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit. The Account Manager will perform regular health checks to ensure accounts adhere to WPP best practices, proactively optimize accounts by monitoring market changes, and identify development opportunities. Additionally, the role involves creating and executing development and testing plans, preparing presentations, leading client meetings, devising campaign strategies, delegating tasks to offshore activation teams, and accurately managing budgets.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional hands-on experience in paid social media, comprehensive knowledge of best practices across major social platforms, and experience in supporting and mentoring junior team members. They should have a proven track record in managing both brand and direct response campaigns, optimizing accounts to achieve performance targets, and developing audience strategies to enhance campaign effectiveness. Proficiency in using advanced features within native platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn) and third-party tools (e.g., Smartly, Sprinklr) is essential. The candidate should also be confident in utilizing new AI technologies and solutions, possess strong communication skills, and be capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
