Account Manager
As an Account Manager at WPP Media, you will oversee the daily operations for your assigned client, ensuring seamless collaboration between client teams and Wavemaker's specialist units. Your role involves maintaining high-quality outputs and aligning strategic approaches across all facets of brief responses. Reporting to the Business Director, you will uphold excellent service standards and meet all deadlines, demonstrating a deep understanding of your client's business to develop solutions that drive mutual growth.
Your key responsibilities include organizing and guiding junior team members to deliver client work that meets or exceeds expectations, managing client work-in-progress meetings, and leading certain client relationships with support from the Account Director. You will run campaigns end-to-end, adhering to Wavemaker's planning philosophy and process framework, ensuring timely and accurate work output that aligns with clients' business requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate billing and monthly invoicing to clients, while developing an understanding of commercial requirements for key clients.
The ideal candidate will have over two years of media agency experience, with strong knowledge of the New Zealand media market and an interest in major global markets. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of the media ecosystem and its operations. Personal qualities include professionalism, energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative spirit.
