Accounting and Finance Specialist

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Accounting and Finance Specialist to join the NSC Turkey Finance team. This role involves managing processes in general accounting, fixed assets, payroll, revenue recognition, tax, and treasury, ensuring compliance with local regulations and Eurofins group accounting policies. The position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote and office-based work.

Key responsibilities include recording daily accounting entries, contributing to monthly closing and reporting processes, managing fixed assets and performing depreciation calculations, supporting the preparation of financial reports, and monitoring bank transactions and cash flow. The role also involves reviewing customer contracts for appropriate revenue recognition, processing supplier invoices and payments, performing supplier reconciliations, reviewing employee expense claims, and supporting the preparation of tax declarations and audit processes.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields, with 3-5 years of experience in accounting and finance processes, focusing on general accounting and revenue recognition. Knowledge of Turkish Tax Legislation and basic IFRS is required, along with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with Mikro accounting software and familiarity with ERP systems are preferred. Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential.
