Administrative Assistant (Contractor)

The Administrative Assistant (Contractor) will support Legend Biotech's CAR-T Manufacturing site in Raritan, NJ. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative assistance and coordinating special projects and executive initiatives for the Plant Leadership team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of building professional relationships. The position requires the ability to work independently and as an effective team member, with a strong emphasis on initiative, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Key responsibilities include managing all forms of communication to ensure clarity across the team and with key stakeholders, providing executive administrative support, maintaining the plant's organizational chart and headcount files, and assisting with data compilation from various sources to facilitate analysis and presentation. The role also involves supporting HR with plant-related recruitment and onboarding activities, tracking and driving completion of key deliverables, and participating in the planning, coordination, and preparation of project plans, plant communications, and dashboards.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of administrative assistant experience, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, or pharmaceuticals. Experience in C-level and executive administration, as well as in large, matrix environments, is preferred. Strong administrative support knowledge, including the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, is essential. The role requires self-motivation, strong organizational and detail-orientation skills, the ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
