Advocaat-medewerker Competition
As an Advocaat-medewerker Competition at Houthoff, you will join a leading team specializing in competition law, operating seamlessly between our Amsterdam and Brussels offices. Our practice encompasses the full spectrum of competition law, including cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases, merger control, FDI and FSR notifications, as well as state aid and European law matters.
In this role, you will defend clients in investigations conducted by the European Commission and the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). Collaborating closely with our M&A team, you will manage notification processes and provide clients with high-quality, practical advice across all areas of competition and European law. Additionally, you will contribute to publications, client workshops, webinars, and seminars, and participate in business development initiatives.
The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of three to six years of experience in competition law within a law firm setting. A strong analytical ability, thorough knowledge of competition law, and a passion for handling complex cases are essential. You should be service-oriented, take responsibility, and enjoy developing new ideas and engaging in marketing activities. Flexibility and teamwork are crucial, along with the ambition to grow and contribute to the expansion of the practice group.
