AI Change Management Lead

GHJ is seeking an experienced AI Change Management Lead to guide mid-market and enterprise clients through the adoption of AI-driven workflows within their finance, accounting, and operations functions. This interim consultant role focuses on ensuring successful organizational adoption of new AI-enabled processes and tools.

The AI Change Management Lead will design and execute comprehensive change management strategies aligned with clients' AI implementation roadmaps. Responsibilities include conducting stakeholder assessments, developing clear communication plans, leading role-specific training sessions, and building internal change champion networks to sustain adoption. The role also involves proactively managing resistance, defining and tracking adoption KPIs, and advising on organizational design adjustments to support new AI-enabled operating models.

Candidates should have over 8 years of change management experience, particularly in large-scale technology or digital transformation programs. Hands-on experience with AI, automation, or ERP implementations within accounting, finance, or shared services environments is essential. Proficiency in structured change methodologies such as Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or McKinsey Influence Model is required. Strong executive presence and the ability to influence C-suite and board-level stakeholders are also necessary.

This interim consultant position offers an hourly rate between $110 and $140.
