Senior Accounting Analyst

GHJ Search & Staffing is collaborating with a large, publicly traded healthcare services organization to recruit a Senior Accounting Analyst for its rapidly expanding Health division. The Senior Accounting Analyst will be responsible for managing the full-cycle month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and flux analysis. Additional duties encompass preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, conducting operating expense analyses, and performing budget versus actual variance reviews. The role also involves assisting with payroll allocations, reserves, revenue-related entries, and supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Collaboration with operations and finance leadership to identify and improve manual accounting processes is a key aspect of this position.

Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong background in month-end close procedures. Advanced Excel skills, particularly in handling large datasets, are essential. Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally. A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
