AIR Group Officer

The Air Group Officer at Eurofins is responsible for conducting environmental sampling of emissions from stationary sources, soil vapour, workplace air, and airborne asbestos. This role is integral to Eurofins' mission of providing high-quality analytical testing services to ensure environmental safety and compliance. The position is based in Dandenong South, Victoria, within Eurofins Environment Testing Australia, a network of fully accredited laboratories specializing in various environmental analyses.

Key responsibilities include performing dust deposition, stack emission, soil gas, and workplace sampling. The officer is also tasked with data entry for sample reporting, calibration of equipment, and conducting asbestos sampling in accordance with the National Occupational Health and Safety Commission standards. Additionally, the role requires undertaking necessary client requirements to access sites, such as completing online and on-site inductions and specific training sessions.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience or knowledge in stack sampling and testing, along with strong communication and time management skills. The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships is essential. A solid understanding and appreciation for health and safety protocols are required. Candidates should be confident and comfortable working outdoors, possess established skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, and be capable of working in industrial settings, including climbing to and working on elevated platforms. Strong initiative, the ability to work in a team environment, flexibility with regional or interstate work, attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a current driver's license are also necessary.

Eurofins offers competitive remuneration dependent on candidate skills and experience, along with an extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of the national standard super rate.
