The Junior IT Support Analyst will be part of the Technology Information team at Eurofins, an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services across various sectors. This role focuses on ensuring the availability and maintenance of the company's communication systems and IT infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support to company users, assisting in planning network structures, installing and maintaining operating systems and software, managing hardware and software inventories, and performing data backups on servers. The analyst will also monitor software and hardware installations, configure workstations and application servers, and support the implementation and maintenance of internet infrastructure.
Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Networks, or related fields, with 1-3 years of experience in user support. Technical knowledge required includes proficiency in Microsoft systems, understanding of networks (including VPN, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), experience with antivirus software, and prior experience managing accounts in Active Directory.
The position offers a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life environment.
