Analyst, IT Support Engineer
Galaxy is seeking an Analyst, IT Support Engineer to join our London office. In this position, you will provide high-quality deskside and remote support to Galaxy employees, addressing hardware and software issues across macOS, Windows, and iOS platforms. Responsibilities include laptop and mobile device imaging, configuration, and deployment, as well as managing onboarding and offboarding processes, device provisioning, asset tracking, and SaaS administration. You will also troubleshoot network connectivity issues, support conference room and AV technology, and collaborate with Security, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to ensure smooth IT operations.
The ideal candidate is an early-career IT professional with experience in technical support or helpdesk roles, including deskside or trade floor experience. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is required. Strong understanding of macOS and Windows operating systems at an administrative level, solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN), and experience with cloud identity platforms and directory services are essential. Exposure to scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is advantageous.
