Analytical Biochemist Group Leader

The Analytical Biochemist Group Leader at Eurofins is responsible for supervising a team dedicated to fulfilling client service requirements. This role involves coaching, training, and developing team members to enhance their personal growth and implement operational improvements effectively. The leader fosters motivation and morale within the group, coordinates workflow, and monitors daily activities to meet turnaround times.

Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing job plans, conducting semiannual performance reviews, interviewing applicants, and maintaining up-to-date training records for assigned employees. The Group Leader also performs succession planning to prepare for growth and coaches individuals and the team to maximize performance.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field, with 6-8 years of experience; a Master's degree with 4-6 years of experience; or a Ph.D. with 0-2 years of experience, all with leadership experience. Essential skills include analytical laboratory expertise, particularly with HPLC, UHPLC, and CE techniques, a collaborative personality, acute attention to detail, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal communication, organization, presentation, and technical writing skills.
