Analytical Product Development Scientist
Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Product Development Scientist to join our team dedicated to the analysis of pharmaceutical oral drug products and new modalities. This full-time, permanent position offers a flexible 36.5-hour workweek from Monday to Friday. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services across multiple industries to ensure product safety and authenticity.
In this role, you will perform routine and non-routine analyses using both traditional and modern analytical techniques, ensuring all work aligns with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and project requirements. Responsibilities include conducting analytical testing, reviewing data for GMP compliance, developing and validating analytical procedures for oral drug products and emerging modalities, and preparing and approving analytical results. Additionally, you will support the training of Eurofins or client employees in analytical techniques and electronic systems where you hold demonstrable expertise.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, supported by proven experience in pharmaceutical analysis within a development laboratory or equivalent environment. Proficiency in traditional analytical techniques and modern instrumental methods, including HPLC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution, Mass Spectroscopy, and other spectroscopic techniques, is essential. A thorough understanding of chromatographic techniques, GMP expectations, and the ability to troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation are also required.
