Analytical Scientist (Capillary Electrophoresis)

Eurofins is seeking an Analytical Scientist specializing in Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) to join their Analytical Technology group in Sanford, North Carolina. This role involves conducting analytical chemistry analyses on various sample types, contributing to the company's mission of providing high-quality analytical testing services across multiple industries.

The primary responsibilities include preparing analytical standards and reagents, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, calculating results using software tools, and documenting findings in electronic laboratory notebooks. The scientist will also support senior chemists on various projects, troubleshoot process issues, and communicate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines and goals.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry with at least two years of laboratory experience, particularly with proteins or carbohydrates. Direct experience in performing and reviewing data for Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) and/or Imaged Capillary Isoelectric Focusing (icIEF) is required. Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in computer applications, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is also necessary.
