Analytical Scientist

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an Analytical Scientist to perform analysis of pharmaceutical raw materials, drug substances, and finished products, delivering accurate results within specified timeframes. This role is integral to our commitment to ensuring product safety and efficacy for our clients.

Key responsibilities include conducting routine and non-routine analyses using both traditional and modern analytical techniques, reviewing analytical data for GMP compliance, and preparing and approving test results. The position also involves training other employees in analytical techniques and electronic systems, developing and validating analytical procedures for APIs and drug products, and initiating and following up on OOS results and action limits as per customer procedures.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Chemistry or a related discipline, with proven relevant experience in pharmaceutical analysis within a development laboratory. Proficiency with traditional analytical techniques and modern instrumental equipment such as HPLC, Karl Fischer, Dissolution, Mass Spectroscopy, and other spectroscopic techniques is essential. A thorough understanding of chromatographic techniques, GMP requirements, and the ability to quickly learn new processes are also required.
