Apprentice – Finance

Clifford Chance is seeking a Finance Apprentice to join our global law firm, renowned for its collaborative and inclusive culture. This role is based in our India offices, which are integral to the firm's operations, delivering high-value support across various functions. As a Finance Apprentice, you will be part of a dynamic team contributing to the firm's financial processes and client services.

In this position, your primary responsibilities will include generating pre-bills and drafts, making time amendments, updating rates, finalizing bills within scope, processing time write-offs, and handling invoice reversals. You will also manage collection activities such as updating dispatch dates, maintaining client contacts, following up with clients for payments, addressing client queries, initiating improvements to reduce lock-ups, and maintaining debtor summaries.

The ideal candidate is a commerce graduate with excellent written and verbal communication skills. While no prior work experience is required, flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to tasks will be advantageous.
