Asset Protection Specialist (Full Time)

As an Asset Protection Specialist (APS) at RISE Dispensaries, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of both customers and team members. This position uniquely combines elements of hospitality, customer service, and safety leadership, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, greeting them with warmth and positivity to set the "RISE Vibe" from the moment they enter. Your responsibilities will include managing the check-in process efficiently while upholding compliance standards, providing basic concierge-level support by answering common questions, and directing traffic within the dispensary. Additionally, you will serve as a visible and approachable presence to deter incidents, monitor various areas of the premises to ensure safety and compliance, and de-escalate situations with empathy and clear communication. Your proactive approach will contribute to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all.
To excel in this position, you should have at least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience, with familiarity in POS systems and compliance technology being advantageous. While security, military, or law enforcement experience is beneficial, a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service is essential. You must be able to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends, to meet business needs. A valid driver’s license or state ID is required, and you must be 21 years or older, meeting all state-specific cannabis employment requirements. Additionally, passing all required background checks, including state-specific cannabis employment requirements, is mandatory.
