Assistant Counsel
The National Football League (NFL) is seeking an Assistant Counsel to join its dynamic in-house legal team in New York City. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and a J.D. from accredited institutions, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a transactional legal role at a top-tier law firm or in-house at a media, entertainment, or technology company. Strong drafting experience in the media, content, or technology space is essential, as well as proficiency with complex agreements and familiarity with distribution, licensing, and direct-to-consumer models. Valid membership in good standing in the New York State Bar is required.
The NFL offers a competitive salary range of $195,000 to $215,000 USD for this position. Employees are required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week in the office, with occasional travel and additional hours as needed.
