Eurofins is seeking an Associate Chemist to join our High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry (HRMS) Preparation team within the Environment Testing division. This role is integral to our mission of providing comprehensive analytical testing services that ensure environmental safety and sustainability. The position is based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and operates during the second shift from Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Initial training will occur on the first shift, Monday through Friday.

The Associate Chemist will be responsible for preparing and analyzing environmental samples across various matrices using established analytical methods. Key duties include performing routine testing, conducting quality control procedures, maintaining accurate records, and assembling supporting data for all analyses. The role also involves basic maintenance of laboratory equipment, preparation of standard solutions and reagents, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) as required by regulatory agencies and internal quality control standards. Ensuring safe and efficient laboratory practices is paramount.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is required. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is necessary. Ideal candidates will have strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, prior laboratory experience, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. A commitment to learning new techniques, multitasking, maintaining accurate records, and following company policies is essential.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $18, supplemented by a 10% shift differential.
