Eurofins is seeking an Associate Chemist to join our Environmental Testing team on the 2nd shift, Tuesday through Saturday. This role involves preparing and analyzing environmental samples using various analytical methods to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Associate Chemist will be responsible for performing sample preparation and analysis across various matrices, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). Key duties include conducting routine testing, reviewing and assembling data, maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing standard solutions and reagents, and ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently. The role also requires understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), company methods, governing agencies, clients, and internal quality control departments.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking, is essential. Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship is required. Ideal candidates will have strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, prior laboratory experience, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The capacity to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies is also important.

The position offers a pay rate of $18 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential.
