Associate Director-Adops
The Associate Director-Adops at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the company's AI-driven media operating unit, WPP Media. This position involves leading a team to deliver creative personalization at scale, integrating media, data, and partnerships to optimize clients' media investments. The role is based in New York, NY, and operates in a hybrid work environment, with an expectation of approximately four days in the office each week.
In this capacity, the Associate Director-Adops will oversee programmatic media activations across various retailer networks, including but not limited to Amazon, CitrusAd, Criteo, The Trade Desk, and Walmart. Responsibilities encompass campaign setup, bid recommendations, budgeting, and ensuring overall client goal attainment. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with key account stakeholders to maximize promotional opportunities and assist them in navigating the commerce activation landscape. Additionally, the Associate Director-Adops will lead the incorporation of cross-channel testing and optimization strategies, prepare campaign performance reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, and address technical issues with media campaign serving.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or equivalent professional work experience. A minimum of five years of experience in biddable performance media execution or paid e-commerce is required, with a strong preference for retail media search execution. Experience managing a team of direct reports is essential. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is necessary. A deep understanding of retail commercial elements such as profit margin, inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning is crucial to inform media decisions. Candidates should also have a strong drive to understand the retail landscape and stay updated on the latest trends in commerce media.
