Associate Director / Director of Program Management, Life Sciences
Lila Sciences is seeking an Associate Director or Director of Program Management in Life Sciences to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of therapeutic programs on our platform. This senior role involves direct project management leadership across internal science, engineering, and automation teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and progress tracking. Additionally, the position serves as the primary operational interface with pharmaceutical and biotech partners, maintaining smooth governance and communication.
Key responsibilities include owning end-to-end project management for therapeutic programs, developing timelines, coordinating resources, and managing dependencies across multidisciplinary teams. The role requires driving daily execution, setting clear priorities, and swiftly resolving blockers. Managing resource allocation discussions, establishing program-level reporting, and proactively identifying and managing program risks are also essential duties.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with at least 5 years in program or project management roles involving direct responsibility for timelines, resourcing, and tracking. A strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes is crucial, along with experience managing programs with external partners. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to influence without authority are essential.
We offer competitive compensation, including bonus potential and generous early equity. The final offer will reflect your unique background, expertise, and impact. The expected base salary range is $148,000 to $224,000 USD.
