The Associate Director - Programmatic at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the Global Operations Centre (GOC), collaborating with teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia to deliver high-performance programmatic media solutions. This position involves leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of various programmatic formats, including display, video, native, and connected TV (CTV), ensuring adherence to global best practices while accommodating local market nuances.

Key responsibilities include serving as the global lead for programmatic activation across all buying platforms, developing strategies that leverage audience targeting and dynamic creative optimization, and overseeing the setup, quality assurance, and optimization of campaigns across platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, and Yahoo DSP. The role also entails implementing structured testing across formats and bidding strategies, optimizing toward key performance indicators (KPIs) like cost per acquisition (CPA) and return on ad spend (ROAS), and collaborating with analytics teams to build custom dashboards and reporting frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess over eight years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on programmatic media, hands-on expertise in major buying platforms, and a solid understanding of data onboarding and audience segmentation. Experience managing large budgets across multi-market, multi-channel programmatic campaigns, proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools, and demonstrated ability to train and scale high-performing teams are also essential. An analytical, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills is crucial for success in this role.
