Associate / Specialist, Multimedia
Lila Sciences is seeking a creative and skilled Multimedia Specialist to join our team in Cambridge, MA. This in-house role will serve as the primary resource for design tasks, including slides, overviews, explainers, video production, photography, animation, and multimedia content creation. The position requires collaboration with science and engineering teams to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling visuals and narratives. A background in science, biology, AI, robotics, or software is highly advantageous.
Key responsibilities include creating and producing engaging multimedia content such as videos, graphics, and animations for various platforms. The role involves capturing and editing high-quality photographs and videos for promotional materials, internal communications, and social content. Managing end-to-end production from concept development to final delivery, including coordinating timelines, reviews, and asset handoff, is essential. Staying current with industry trends and best practices in multimedia production is also expected.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in multimedia production, with a strong portfolio showcasing their work. Proficiency in digital production tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), is required. Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to create compelling narratives through visuals, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. Comfort working with scientists, researchers, and technical teams, including the ability to ask insightful questions and communicate clearly, is crucial.
We offer competitive compensation, including bonus potential and generous early equity. The expected base salary range is $56,000 to $90,667 USD. The final offer will reflect your unique background, expertise, and impact.
