Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical testing services, is seeking an Assistant for Laboratory Sample Registration to join their team in Katowice, Poland. This role is integral to the laboratory operations, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of environmental samples. Eurofins operates over 900 laboratories in 62 countries, providing comprehensive testing services across various sectors.

The primary responsibilities include registering incoming environmental samples into the laboratory's information systems, verifying accompanying documentation for accuracy, and assessing the completeness and quality of the samples. The role also involves collaborating with internal laboratory departments to facilitate the progression of samples through analytical processes, maintaining meticulous laboratory records in accordance with established procedures, managing client orders within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), and maintaining ongoing communication with clients and other departments, such as analytical and logistics teams.

Candidates should possess proficiency in computer use, particularly with MS Office applications, and hold at least a secondary or post-secondary education, preferably in natural sciences, chemistry, or environmental studies. Essential qualities include independence, accuracy, reliability, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, effective communication, and teamwork abilities. While not mandatory, knowledge of English and a basic understanding of environmental protection or laboratory work are advantageous.

The position offers stable employment under an employment contract, regular working hours in a two-shift system, a supportive social environment, and a positive work atmosphere.
