At Soho House, a Barback plays an essential supporting role in the smooth and efficient operation of the bar. Working alongside the bar team, you'll ensure that bartenders have everything they need to deliver fast, high-quality service to our members and guests.
Your main responsibility is to assist the bar staff and make sure the member gets a superior experience. You will deliver drinks orders from the bar to members’ tables, acting as a point of contact between the bar and the floor.
We are seeking an experienced Barback to join our Central London team at Cecconi's Mayfair (W1S 3EP). Your main responsibilities are to support the bartending teams in the smooth running of the bar. This includes ensuring the bar is stocked with spirits, garnishes, ice, and other products needed throughout their shift. You will ensure that glasses, stirrers, shakers, strainers and other bartending tools are clean and in the proper position for use.
1-2 years’ experience in a busy high-profile bar (preferred but not essential). Team player who communicates well with all colleagues. Punctual, reliable and trustworthy. Sense of urgency. Yes, yes, yes mentality. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Have a genuine passion for food and beverage. Flexible and available to working both opening and closing shifts when required.
