Eurofins is seeking a Biochemist specializing in Biophysical Characterization to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. The Biochemist will be responsible for conducting biophysical and analytical testing using techniques such as Analytical Ultracentrifugation (AUC), Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Static Light Scattering (SLS), Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), UV-Visible (UV-Vis) Spectroscopy, Infrared (IR) Spectroscopy, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectroscopy, Mass Photometry, and Size-Exclusion Chromatography with Multi-Angle Light Scattering (SEC-MALS). Additional duties include buffer preparation, automated liquid handling, maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a life science discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) with 2-4 years of directly related industry experience, or an MS/PhD with up to 2 years of experience. The role requires strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is essential, and experience with Power BI is preferred. Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship is required.
