Biochemist (Formulation Team)

Eurofins is seeking a Biochemist to join its Formulation Team in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves supporting the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical formulations within a dynamic laboratory environment. Eurofins Scientific is a global leader in life sciences, providing a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to ensure product safety and quality across various industries.

The Biochemist will perform in-process sample testing, including assessments of density, viscosity, appearance, UV spectrophotometry, pH, osmolality, particulate matter, protein content, and HPLC analyses such as SEC and Polysorbate 80. Responsibilities also encompass setting up and operating laboratory equipment, preparing buffers and calibration solutions, managing laboratory operations, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field, with over four years of directly related industry experience, or a Master's/Ph.D. degree with at least two years of relevant experience. Essential skills include excellent communication, attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and knowledge of aseptic techniques and parenteral formulation.

The position offers a competitive hourly compensation ranging from $21.40 to $23.64, along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with potential for overtime as required.
