Brand Design Lead
is seeking a visionary Brand Design Lead to shape the visual identity and creative direction of one of the world's leading cryptocurrency platforms. This role is pivotal in defining how the brand is perceived across every touchpoint—digital, physical, and beyond. Key responsibilities include leading brand strategy by defining and evolving the brand's visual identity to ensure consistency across all channels such as web, app, social media, and events. The role involves developing and maintaining comprehensive brand design systems, including style guides, iconography, and motion design, to scale the brand across platforms. Staying ahead of design trends and pushing boundaries to create a brand that feels modern, trustworthy, and forward-thinking is essential. Additionally, the Brand Design Lead will mentor and collaborate with a team of designers, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence, and partner with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align design with business goals. Owning high-impact campaigns, events, and launches with standout creative work that resonates with a global audience is also a key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of brand design experience, focusing on building and scaling visual identities for tech, crypto, or fintech companies. Proven leadership experience in managing, mentoring, and growing design teams is required. An exceptional eye for detail with a deep understanding of design trends, movements, and best practices is essential. Strong systems thinking, with experience in building and maintaining scalable design systems, is necessary. Hands-on expertise as an individual contributor who still loves to create is important. A standout portfolio that demonstrates range, craft, and creative thinking is required. Proficiency in industry-standard tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Framer, and ideally Rive is expected. Specialization in a particular design discipline such as 3D work, motion design, or illustration is a strong plus. While crypto or fintech experience is a bonus, it is not essential, as design talent is valued above all.
Compensation includes a full-time salary based on experience and meaningful equity in an industry-leading company. The role is based in the London office, with a mandatory in-office presence four days per week.
