Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Business Unit Manager (BUMA) to lead its CMC/CDMO Services division in India. This role involves overseeing the development and manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products, ensuring alignment with Eurofins' commitment to delivering high-quality analytical testing services across various industries. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the company's mission to make life and the environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable.

The BUMA will be responsible for leading the preparation of annual budgets and mid-term plans, reporting on deviations, and collaborating closely with the finance team. Key responsibilities include developing strategic plans for service and product offerings, portfolio expansion, and identifying new business opportunities to maximize profitable growth. The role also entails driving competitive positioning, new business development, cost reduction initiatives, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Candidates must have a minimum of 20 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years with full P&L responsibility or in a techno-commercial role. Proven leadership and business development experience are essential, along with prior experience in a Contract Research or CDMO company. Educational qualifications should include a Master's or PhD in Organic Chemistry, complemented by an MBA or equivalent business exposure. A deep understanding of the Pharma R&D outsourcing market, particularly in CMC/CDMO Services, is required.
