Business Analyst, Commercial
Noom is seeking a Business Analyst, Commercial to join our dynamic team in New York, NY. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Client Success, Sales, Product, Data/Analytics Engineering, and Operations teams to provide high-quality analytics, reporting, and insights that drive client success and inform commercial decision-making. Your contributions will ensure our enterprise clients have access to accurate and actionable data, supporting Noom's mission to help people live better, longer.
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining client-facing reports and analytics for quarterly business reviews, renewals, and expansion efforts. This includes delivering insights on engagement, outcomes, utilization, and program performance. You will perform high-impact ad-hoc analyses for Sales, Client Success, and leadership, translating complex questions into clear metrics and actionable outputs. Additionally, you will build and enhance Looker dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency by validating dashboards and managing changes in upstream data. Your role will also involve investigating and resolving data discrepancies in partnership with Data/Analytics Engineering and supporting operational analytics across billing, eligibility, and partner reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in business or data analytics, preferably in healthcare, benefits, or B2B SaaS environments. Strong proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and debugging complex datasets, is essential. Hands-on experience with Looker or similar BI tools, and the ability to translate complex questions into clear analyses and actionable insights, are also required. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively convey methodologies and findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Noom offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package, including a discretionary performance-based bonus, stock awards, healthcare, disability and retirement benefits, paid holidays and leave, and various wellness programs. The base salary range for this full-time position is $101,000 to $129,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum salary targets for US-based candidates at the time of posting. The actual salary offer will be based on factors such as relevant experience, training, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, and location.
