Business Analyst - SI des Laboratoires de Chimie
Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in analytical services, is seeking a Business Analyst for its Chemistry Laboratories Information Systems. This role is part of the Food Europe IT Department, which manages application systems for food laboratories across Southwest Europe, including France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. The position focuses on deploying and validating new Next Generation (NG) solutions and associated regional systems within chemistry laboratories.
The Business Analyst will be responsible for detailing processes to be implemented with the new NG solution, collaborating with laboratory project managers and the NG team. Key tasks include conducting gap analyses to identify process changes, testing the new system under various conditions, organizing and executing user acceptance tests, coordinating data migrations, preparing deployment activities, managing change, training users, and providing post-go-live support. The role also involves proposing business-relevant decisions, understanding constraints related to process standardization, and maintaining project timelines.
Candidates should possess a general engineering degree with a strong interest in information systems and their practical application in operational business contexts. The role requires a process-oriented mindset, an interest in optimizing laboratory operations, and the ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects. Effective communication skills, autonomy, and a collaborative approach are essential. Experience in laboratory environments and familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) are advantageous.
The position is based in Nantes, France, with partial remote work options available. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes performance-based bonuses, health insurance, meal vouchers, and profit-sharing schemes.
