Business Controller

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Business Controller to join our dynamic team. This role involves analyzing business key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, as well as monitoring and tracking competitor activities. The Business Controller will be responsible for reviewing financial performance, preparing monthly performance summaries for the region, and overseeing accounts receivables and collections to maintain days sales outstanding (DSO) below budgeted levels.

Key responsibilities include supporting businesses in preparing implementation plans for key initiatives, tracking project implementation using PERT charts, and personally driving and implementing projects when required. The role demands strong data analysis and interpretation skills, the ability to identify patterns and trends, and the capability to correlate quantitative data with qualitative insights to provide a comprehensive perspective on business situations.

The ideal candidate should possess advanced proficiency in Excel, with knowledge of Power BI being advantageous. They should have demonstrated the ability to deeply understand business dynamics, view problems holistically considering people, processes, and resources, and be process-oriented with experience in designing process improvements or redesigns. A solution-focused mindset and strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for articulating issues and solutions effectively.
