As a Business Development Manager at Capital on Tap, you will be an integral part of our dynamic sales team, focusing on expanding our customer base and driving growth for our award-winning business credit card. Capital on Tap is dedicated to simplifying financial management for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing them with tailored credit solutions to support their business needs.

In this role, you will manage the entire sales cycle, from sourcing and qualifying leads to onboarding new clients and fostering ongoing relationships. Your daily activities will include making 30-50 outbound calls to SME owner-directors and finance managers, building and managing a robust sales pipeline, and working towards achieving targets for card spend. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations and maintain high standards of customer service.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of telesales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, with a proven track record of meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). Experience managing a full sales cycle and an understanding of SMEs and their financial operations are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients over the phone are also crucial for success in this position.

Capital on Tap offers a competitive compensation package, including an uncapped commission structure with an average on-target earnings (OTE) of £60,000 to £70,000.
