Business Development Manager
Clifford Chance is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its Warsaw Law Office. This role is integral to the firm's global strategy, focusing on client-centric growth and market development. The Business Development (BD) function collaborates with partners, lawyers, and business professionals to drive sustainable growth through targeted business development and marketing plans.
The Business Development Manager will work directly with key stakeholders in Warsaw to implement client and market development initiatives. Responsibilities include managing the pipeline and delivery of Warsaw-led pitches and proposals, providing tailored input into significant international pitches, and updating and maintaining capability statements. The role also involves organizing and managing BD client events, seminars, conferences, sponsorships, and public relations activities to enhance the firm's profile.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in professional services business development, preferably within a law firm. A strong interest in and understanding of relevant work types, sound commercial awareness of legal market developments, and the ability to develop advisory relationships with partners are essential. Strong project management and organizational skills, along with excellent oral and written communication abilities, are also required.
