Business Development & Marketing Manager
King & Spalding, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Business Development & Marketing Manager to join their Riyadh office. This role is integral to the firm's Middle East operations, focusing on developing and implementing strategies to target desired client bases across key practices. The position reports directly to the Senior Business Development Manager for Asia and the Middle East.
The primary responsibilities include identifying and facilitating client targeting through go-to-market strategies, leading the creation of client-facing pitches and marketing materials, conducting strategic research on potential clients and competitors, and managing directory submissions and league rankings. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the events team to organize successful events, recommending conferences and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's market recognition, and acting as the first point of contact for transactional business development requests.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have substantial experience in business development or marketing within a professional services or consultancy environment, with law firm experience considered a strong plus. A demonstrable track record in the energy sector is also advantageous. The ideal candidate will be a creative, commercially minded thinker with strong project management skills, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, along with a strong attention to detail and client service attitude, are essential.
