Business Development Representative, EMEA - Mirakl Ads
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) for Mirakl Ads in the EMEA region, you will be instrumental in expanding our retail media business. Operating from our London office, you will join a dedicated team led by the Global VP of Mirakl Ads, focusing on promoting our innovative retail media solutions to retailers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through proactive multichannel prospecting, such as phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach. You will develop personalized outreach sequences to engage prospects, map accounts, and uncover cross-sell or expansion opportunities with existing customers. Maintaining accurate pipeline data in CRM and sales engagement tools, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified opportunities. Additionally, you will work with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams to refine messaging, processes, and lead-generation strategies, aiming to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.
The ideal candidate will have 12 to 24 months of experience in a client-facing role focused on B2B prospecting, such as sales development or business development. A pragmatic and results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to meet and exceed opportunity qualification targets, is essential. A BA or MA in Business or a related field is required. Strong sales acumen, a data-driven approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with prospects and international partners across diverse cultures and markets are crucial. Proficiency in English to a native standard is mandatory, and fluency in French is considered a bonus.
Compensation for this role includes an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of up to £70,000. Benefits encompass a public transport allowance covering 50% of daily commuting costs within the TfL zones, health insurance through AXA, a monthly meal allowance, and access to a corporate ClassPass membership with monthly credits funded by Mirakl. The position offers a hybrid work setup, requiring four days in the office and one day remote per week.
