Tulip is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team in Somerville, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of industrial environments by engaging potential clients and introducing them to Tulip's innovative solutions.

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers through proactive outreach methods, including cold calls, emails, and social media engagement. Collaborating closely with Account Executives and the Marketing team, you will align outbound strategies and ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads. Maintaining accurate records of all interactions in our CRM system and staying informed about Tulip's platform and industry trends will be essential to effectively communicate value to prospects.

The ideal candidate will have 0–2 years of experience in a Business Development Representative (BDR), Sales Development Representative (SDR), or similar outbound sales role, preferably within a B2B SaaS or technology environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial, along with confidence in engaging executives and decision-makers. A results-oriented and self-motivated attitude, coupled with the ability to meet or exceed targets in a fast-paced setting, is highly desirable. Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation platforms is a plus. A bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or equivalent working experience is preferred.
