The Business Tools & Process Analyst at Tipalti plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence through data analysis, automation, and AI-enabled workflows. This position involves close collaboration with various Operations teams, including Customer Success, Support, Onboarding, Payment Operations, and Compliance, to identify efficiency opportunities and implement scalable solutions. Tipalti, a leading AI-powered platform for finance automation, empowers customers to streamline global business operations and enhance financial efficiency.
Key responsibilities include analyzing operational and customer data to uncover trends and performance drivers, developing reporting frameworks and dashboards for leadership and frontline teams, and creating predictive models to inform strategic planning. The role also involves designing, configuring, and maintaining AI workflows using tools such as Gemini, Glean, Workato, and UIPath, as well as building and iterating on automations like ticket summarization and forecasting models. Additionally, the analyst will map and optimize both customer-facing and internal processes for scalability, improve onboarding and adoption workflows, and standardize playbooks and scorecards across the customer lifecycle.
Candidates should have solid experience in operations, business intelligence, or automation engineering, with strong proficiency in SQL, BI tools like Power BI, and Excel/Sheets. Hands-on experience with AI or workflow automation platforms such as Workato, UIPath, or Gainsight automation is essential. Familiarity with CRM and CX systems like Salesforce, Zendesk, or Gainsight is also required. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can translate raw data into actionable insights, possesses a builder mindset with a curiosity for AI, and is an effective communicator capable of simplifying complex workflows for non-technical teams.
