CAD - Labor & Employment Lawyer
Axiom is seeking experienced Labour & Employment Lawyers to join their team in Toronto, Canada, to provide legal support to Fortune 500 clients. In this role, lawyers will advise on all aspects of employment law compliance, workplace policies, hiring, terminations, and employee relations across multiple provinces. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment agreements, offer letters, confidentiality and non-competition clauses, and contractor arrangements. Additionally, the role involves supporting workplace investigations, accommodations, performance management, and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent and compliant practices, as well as assisting with workplace planning, restructurings, and risk mitigation related to employment standards and labour relations.
Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of employment law experience in Canada, preferably gained in-house or at a national law firm advising corporate clients on workplace and HR matters. An active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario is required.
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $114,000 to $250,000 per year.
