As a Case Intake Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients facing life-changing challenges, providing empathy, clarity, and hope during critical times.
In this position, your primary responsibilities will include conducting consultations with potential clients to assess their eligibility for legal assistance, collecting and inputting detailed information regarding prospective cases, scheduling follow-up appointments, and managing both inbound and outbound calls. You will also be responsible for sending and obtaining signed retainers via email or text and resolving client issues professionally. The Case Control Center operates seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, requiring candidates with flexible availability, including weekends.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for college education. Strong comprehension and critical-thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment and adapt to changing priorities. Reliability, dependability, and the capacity to thrive both independently and within a team are crucial. Proficiency in typing at least 35 words per minute and excellent writing skills are required, as well as the ability to navigate multiple software applications.
The starting wage for this position is $18 per hour, with a $250 sign-on bonus available after 90 days of employment. Full-time employees are offered a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
Joining Morgan & Morgan provides an opportunity to be part of a firm dedicated to consumer rights, offering a supportive environment where employees can grow and make a meaningful impact. As the Las Vegas office is newly established, this role offers the chance to shape the office culture and contribute to the firm's expansion in the region.
