Case Manager in Training
The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan is designed to prepare individuals for a future role as a Case Manager within the firm. In this capacity, the trainee will work closely with multiple attorneys and case staff, rotating through various assignments to gain comprehensive exposure to the firm's operations. Key responsibilities include shadowing experienced Case Managers, ordering medical records from providers, preparing comprehensive demand packages, and investigating case facts. The trainee will also learn to negotiate reductions of outstanding medical balances with providers and assist in preparing necessary documents and correspondence to facilitate case settlements.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience in roles such as Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or similar support positions, preferably within a legal or corporate legal environment. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are required.
