Case Manager
The Case Manager at Morgan & Morgan plays a vital role in supporting attorneys by managing a diverse caseload and facilitating client interactions. Key responsibilities include daily communication with clients, both over the phone and in person, to provide updates and gather necessary information. The Case Manager is tasked with ordering and reviewing medical records, obtaining essential documents to support injury or liability claims, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. Additionally, the role involves maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demand packages for submission to carriers, and collaborating closely with attorneys to present case synopses when required.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager being preferred. A minimum of two years in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is advantageous. The role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute, is also required.
