Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a highly organized and empathetic Case Manager to join their team in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting attorneys with developing settlements, preparing documents, and managing a varied caseload. This position requires daily interaction with clients, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers to ensure efficient case progression.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include daily interactions with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person, ordering medical records from providers, obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions, and interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances. You will also work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files, maintain organized case files, prepare comprehensive demands, and assemble support for submission to carriers. Additionally, you will interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required, manage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorney, and perform other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and have prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. At least 2 years of working in a legal position or insurance adjuster experience is preferred. You should be a team player who can follow procedures, proactively interact with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, and possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. Strong writing and communication skills, attention to detail, and extensive computer and database expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing no less than 35 wpm, are essential. Please note that remote and hybrid work options are not eligible for this position.
